When Covid hit hard in the spring of 2020, we saw friends, family and colleagues feeling the effects of isolation and loneliness. Human connection is something that we took for granted before the pandemic and it’s vital to a healthy personal and professional life. Raised80s was born on the back deck of one of our three Raised80s co-founders. We realized we could connect colleagues and friends with incredible and engaging virtual events that were paired with our unique Experience Boxes, delivered straight to their front door, with product curated from small, diverse Canadian businesses, who need our help now more than ever! We saw small Canadian businesses grind to a halt and we are working to bring them back to life. Individuals and Corporate Canada can work together to give where we live so that our uniquely Canadian small businesses will thrive and prosper.
Why the name Raised80s? All three co-founders were raised in the 80s and the 80s were fun and colourful and so are we!
Creating CONNECTION through shared experiences and gifts sourced from Canadian, small, diverse, and ethical businesses. Raised80s is 100% female-owned. We promote products that are ethically sourced and made in Canada. Our mission is to support local, diverse Canadian businesses. 2% of all revenue from Raised80s is donated to Canadian charities. In 2021 we were able to donate to Ten Oaks Projects, New Leaf Foundation, and The Stop Food Bank.

We use the “8” in our name as a type of Raised80s infinity symbol. It symbolizes the importance we place on taking care of our clients’ from beginning to end, again and again. From initial blueprints to the final product or event, we want our clients to trust that we will confidently and successfully be there every step of the way, every time.

Food, drink, wellness, games - we take a lighter side of life approach and it comes across in everything we do. We love introducing cool new Canadian products from small businesses almost as much as we love bringing people together.
